Epix will be available only to Sonys PlayStation Network members in the U.S. The app can be downloaded for free when it launches at some point in the next few months.
Epix, the joint venture between a host of prominent movie studios including MGM and Paramount, tumour2490.typepad.com has announced plans to bring its service to Sonys PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita devices.
Epix offers its programming to several cable and satellite providers, including Cox and Dish Network. PlayStation 3 and Vita system owners who already subscribe to Epix through their television provider will be able to access Epix at no additional charge.
Epix is already available on the Xbox, special education as well as Roku players, iOS-based devices, and some Samsung televisions.
